1. Information we collect

Account information such as your name, email address and password credentials when you create a KEVCAST account.

Fishing content you create in the app: fishing spots, catches, photos, trips, routes, tackle box entries and notes.

Location data used to show your position on the map, record trip routes and attach conditions to catches. Location is only collected while you use those features.

Device and usage information such as app version, device type and diagnostic data used to keep the app stable.

2. Privacy defaults

New fishing spots are PRIVATE by default. Nothing you record is made public unless you explicitly choose to share it.

You can share individual spots, catches, trips or plans with private fishing mate groups, or make them public, on an item-by-item basis. You can change or revoke that at any time.

3. How we use your information

To provide the KEVCAST app and its features, including maps, catch logs, trips, forecasts, statistics and ASK KEV.

To generate personalised insights such as your most successful bait, best fishing times and personal bests.

To communicate service updates, and, where you have opted in, marketing emails about KEVCAST.

4. ASK KEV and AI processing

ASK KEV answers questions using your own fishing information so its advice is relevant to you. Your fishing data is not sold, and is not used to advertise your spots to other users.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the app, and where required by law.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated fishing data at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing.
